About Us

 Ed Herring has been in remodeling / construction for over 30 years. Having worked for other contractors for 11 years, he decided it was time to start his own company and in 1995 EFH Contracting was born. One of his main reasons for getting out on his own was to be able to work closer with his clients and keep an open mind and an open line of communication. He enjoys getting to know his clients and believes in the "Customer is always right" mentality in every aspect in residential remodeling. Ed takes great pride in all aspects of home remodeling from the simple handy-man work to historical renovations. He believes firmly in doing it right the first time and backs all his work with a one year warranty, taking passion in knowing his work will last many years after.
    Ed grew up in Arlington, Va and moved to Florida in 2021 with his wife, who works along side of him, and their 2 dogs. Their sons are now all grown and proudly serving in the U.S. Navy. One of Ed's side passions is creating his unique art work and getting his family involved. He wants to offer his clients art work that they wouldn't find elsewhere.
    So why EFH? Because we take pride in putting smiles on peoples faces and treat your home as if it were our own. We cannot grow without the satisfaction of each and every customer. As an American made company we believe in American made quality in all our work.
